Try to get a sea view room overlooking the lovely gardens and sea.
The buffet is excellent and we did not get sick.
Amazing place.

You must upgrade to the best rooms, as all rooms in need of new furniture and decor etc. must have a seaborne or pool view room too.
Charging for wifi in this day and age is disgusting hotels just making money out of you for all extras.

Staff very helpful, good food, rooms very clean. The staff go out of their way to help you day or night. Try the Italian restaurant, it has good steak and you will go back again.

Deluxe & Superior rooms in the main hotel.
Room 1210, spacious and quiet over looking the swimming pool.
Onions is a good restaurant to try, but being on the all inclusive, we did not try, but a lot of guests did.

Even number rooms face the sun, odd number rooms are on the dark side and never see the sun.

We stayed at The Conrad Hotel Resort in Sharm El Sheikh, although we did visit Nama Bay a couple of times. This is a really nice place to visit at night, where you can have a meal in various restaurants. We opted for the Hard Rock Cafe where the food was excellent and so was the staff, we arrived about 8pm and just after our meal the staff put on a dance show for us which was superb. The only down side to the resort was to be prepared for staff to get you into shops, do not go in if you do not want to buy anything as the haggling is very bad. Sharks Bay is also a lovely resort, but more for people who are interested in Diving as it has a huge Centre there. We had a trip on a sub, where you can see lots of various species of fish, which was wonderful. We look forward to our next visit to Charming Sharm.

We would definatly come back again as there was plenty to do in the resort centre.
It was very clean and tidy all of the time which was nice, and our section of the beach was very nice and clean and plenty of beautiful fish to swim in the sea with.

My Reviews on the Resort would be the same as above. Outside the complex you can go to little shopping centre's but it was better in Nama Bay at an evening, as there is just so many buildings being built as Shalm El Sheikh has been told by the govement it for tourism, as it's just dessert and buildings being built everywhere.
The Red Sea is fantasic for Snorkelling and we went on a trip to Seascope a submarine to see what it was like to see the corals and fish it was great especially to see my childrens faces.
Before I left I even went into the Reps Office on site of the hotel and told them what a fab time we had had, as I thought they deserved it as the first week got me as everyone was complaing of silly things, and they were really pleased as this really made their day.
Happy holidays, remember it's what you make of a holiday and you really are looked after by the staff.

not much to do here but namma bay is 15 mins away, we didnt go to it though it was too hot, and as it was our first visit we stayed in the hotel . The beach was ok, a bit graverley and not what i expected, the reef was fantastic and the red sea was fantastic.

Avoid Naama bay unless you like to be hassled. Pre book your taxi with the hotel, the blue and white taxi's don't appear to be in the best of order.
The area around Baron Palms is a cross between a building site and a bomb site, so any external entertainment is via taxi.
The shopping centre "Il Marceto" is, like most of Sharm is still being built although they do have an outside TV screen in an amphi theatre (Mr Bean was on)

We liked sharm it is an up and coming resort and in a few years will be a great place to visit. We have been to Bulgaria and found Egypt a lot cleaner and friendlier, and surprisingly catering more for the english than I expected.
We did book a couple trips while we were there from a guy in the shopping mall along from mcdonalds they were a lot cheaper than first choice. We went quadbiking in the desert which my 9 year old loved i dont think you can go on a bike with first choice unless you are older than 12. We also went to Tiran Island snorkelling which was great you had a full day with lunch and drinks thrown in and we made 2 stops snorkelling and the fish and coral were fantastic.
The beach was a bit disappointing as it is more gritty than sand so if you have small children they will not be able to dig in it but that didnt bother us to much. The sea is like getting into a bath and the fish are great try and walk further along to better coral and you will see more.
If you want spain this is not the place to go take it for what it is and you wont be disappointed.
The weather was getting hotter by the day it day it did reach about 46 degrees which was a bit to hot but there was always a slight breeze.

The beach is super clean. The young men from the towel service are very attentive, helpful and friendly. The beach furniture is in very good shape and comfortable. Besides there is lots of space at the beach for each person. Definitely the place to be

Resort was ok have been in better, There was not entertainment, the beach was ok if you could get on it but the holiday was advertised as a beach holiday you cannot get into the water unless you go on the jetty.
I would not go to this resort again.

I loved the resort, very clean, lots to do in Naama bay, get there either by taxi (£2 but check price before you get in), the beaches were lovely, we liked Turquoise beach the best. We found a very small tour operater, just down from the hotel, turn right, walk down, cross road, opposite brothers dive college, next door to the supermarket and silver shop. All the tours were very competitively priced, and we couldn't fault them at all for service, the guy who ran the shop (I think his name was Mody Sugary) was very helpful, and couldn't do enough to help us, I would certainly use them again when I return to Sharm.
