Best steak house TEX MEX or the American Indian who do a steak in Jack Daniels sauce. Chinese food try The Sunshine. Indian try the one near crazy golf on the front. If you want fish go to old town where the fish come right of the boat into the pan.

Try for South facing appartment. Food in onsite bar is good but loads of local restaurants are a short walk away

If you are visiting during the winter months then ask reception for extra warm blankets for the cold nights and also ask for the WiFi code ....
Plenty of food places to try although buffet places charge high costs on soft drinks with your meal ..

Great family resort. Plenty to do, lovely clean beach and a lovely old town/harbour area with good boat trips (we saw dolphins) and some great restaurants. Definately recommended.

We found the resort very clean, plenty of entertainment. The beach was excellent. Would visit this resort again.

Great place, loads to do, good variety of nightlife, water sports etc, enjoyed walking the prom /strip and down to old town, browsing in the shops etc, great selection of restaurants, good quality, reasonably priced. Really enjoyed the excursions to Volcan grill, Futurventura, Playa Blanca. Markets at Tequise were over-rated and expensiive (For anything of good quality). Taxis & buses great value.

This resort was reaaly good hundreds of excellent resturants bars and entertainment the main strip lasts forever and there is plenty of good shops and entertainment a lovley beach across from the main stip

The resort itself was within walking distance plenty of shops, bars & restaurants. Beware of the bar totes can get to be a pain but were always friendly.
Beach was very clean and well maintained. Whole resort seemed well look after by the locals.

Old part of town was nice. Beach good for snorkelling. Entertainment in resort was ok but preferred to relax in La Cascada restaurant. Beaches seemed very clean.Would go back but definately not to the Green oasis.

The area was delightful, nice and quiet and within easy reach of bars and restaurants if wanted. In the old part of town, full of character, and overlooking the harbour. Plenty of interesting walks along the coastal path, also it is possible to walk along the coast to the perimeter fence of the airport. Watching the planes take off and land at close range is very enjoyable.

So much has been written about PDC, just consider it Blackpool with sushine. The beadch wasn't great but a quick trip to Playa Blanca and you have all the sand you could want. Hire a car because in one night you can walk the length of PDC and see all that it has to offer. However, the island is worth a closer look. There are lots of pick up points for buses to attractions like the Teguise market or the old port etc. national park is great. Take the bus tour to see the volcano's. Once in a lifetime experience.
The food varies from the mediocre to brilliant. Even thoough you are paying around £15 for a top class meal, the staff in these places put the rest of Euroupe to shame. They are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Certainly, 'rip off Ireland' could learn a thing or two. Beware, portions are huge and they look upset if you don't manage to eat it all. Watch out for some of the Chinese, 'Eat all you can' buffet's though. I found some of the food to be not a hot as I'd like. It was hanging around a bit too long. Go for the slightly dearer sit down option. I found it to be a great resort overall, in fact I'm going back there again in November. Can't wait.

Attalaya is nicely tucked away from main bars/night clubs so its nice and quiet in the evenings.

I would always stay in Puerto del Carmen. The Old Town area is great, but most of the hotels are up a steep incline and the pavements are very poor. Playa del pocillos tends to be quieter and the pavements are in better order. Out of preference I would return to Playa del Pocillos as it was quieter.
