Best steak house TEX MEX or the American Indian who do a steak in Jack Daniels sauce. Chinese food try The Sunshine. Indian try the one near crazy golf on the front. If you want fish go to old town where the fish come right of the boat into the pan.

Try for South facing appartment. Food in onsite bar is good but loads of local restaurants are a short walk away

If you are visiting during the winter months then ask reception for extra warm blankets for the cold nights and also ask for the WiFi code ....
Plenty of food places to try although buffet places charge high costs on soft drinks with your meal ..

Puerto del Carmen is a great family resort.
Very safe, clean and most of the people you meet out and about are very friendly.

Resort could be cleaner. Watch out for pavements, they are very high curbs and not well maintained.
Plenty of pubs and clubs.

The resort was lovely, we were situated in a quiter part of Puerto Del Carmen but close enough to the nightlife (about 15mins walk)!
There are plenty of bars and restaurants to go to and most offer great food and entertainment! We found a lovely chinese restaurant which we ate at 4 times through our stay as it was really cheap and the food was unbeatable!
The beaches here are lovely (my boyfriend proposed to me on 1 of them!) and the locals are very friendly. Taxis are especially cheap and are a better way to get to and from the centre.
We will definately be going back there but in a few years time as we saw most of Lanzarote in the 14 nights we were there!

The resort was fantastic there was so much to do you could not get bored. there is thousands of bars and restaraunts for all ages. You must try out Harley Rock it has great food and great nightlife and its pretty easy to find. Atlantico is also a must its got all the bars you could imagine you cant miss it if you walk along the streets cos it has a massive sign and everyone is round there. Have fun!!

I loved Lanzarote and would back time and time again. The resort was friendly and clean and there were loads of great bars and places to eat.

the chinese is out of this world .they don't know what well done steak is.if you want fat chips go to ramberlers english bar up the road from Mc Donalds the food there is fantastic believe me.

Pueto Del Carmen main street was on the flat, plenty of restaurants (Harley Rock Cafe was brill), very child friendly, but the alcholic drinks were a bit on the expensive side.
Loads of surf, Electrical, duty free and souvenir shops, all good value for money.
Worth taking a visit to the old town/harbour.
The market at Costa Teguise was worth a visit.

Puerto Del Carmen is absolutely beautiful. The beach is always clean, there is plenty of excellent restaurants and bars with very very friendly staff. The SPORTS BAR on the sea front is excellent. The clubs are very good too. We can probably say that this was one of the best resorts we have ever been to, and we will be returning in the near future

The beach was nice although we spent most of our time at the pool. The evenings were great we could eat then sit and enjoy a drink while the boys could have a game of pool or mini golf.The old town was lovely with some beautiful fish restarants.
