All rooms are good, but the pool side is best. the hotel food is very good and has a great choice to choose from.

We had room 209 apart from having to hold shower spray and not use hairdryer the room was okay. Great Italian if you head towards the house go thru the little side road you have lotus to your right food nice you will come to Chinese, steak house which is good food (don't know about Chinese) Italian is opposite. If you can find Marbella just down road from trakia hotel can highly recommend.

We went all inclusive .we found beer half litre glass 1.50 lev what is around 40p at lots of bars we also ate out a lot because the food was so cheap , food at hotel was good also microwave if u want to have your food red hot .
Seemingly one of the best restaurants was the steakhouse next door to the Marvel, which closed up for the end of season two days after we arrived so didn't get to try it, top tip for the Marvel would be to put their staff on a course to learn how to be polite and engage with holiday makers, at the end of the day it's us who pay their wages!!!
They just didn't care.

No never they need to take more notice of there guest than sit talking to each other pool bar you had to pay for drinks and 5 minute walk to get another drink in a plastic cup even when to stayed in the lobby

The resort is lovely, its a promenade along the beach - pleanty of shops all selling really good fakes. Some really nice pubs and places to eat and the people are lovely. Very friendly.

Sunny Beach a great resort if you like plently of night life!
Lots of Bars and Restaurants to choose from!
Really cheap food and drink, great resort.
Taxi drivers tend to try to rip you off check the price first and agree.
I have since arriving home booked 2 more holidays for this resort 1 in October 2004, and June 2005 both at different hotels though.
Great place to holiday would recommend Bulgaria to anyone.

the resort was very clean and tidy with quite a fair bit too do, although i must say i didnt spend much time out of our hotel as we had all we needed there
the beach was lovely, the people were lovely, the bars were great and unbelievably cheap, its a definate up and coming resort

Sunny beach is very clean at all times, people are very helpful and will remember you year after year. Plenty of bars to sit and relax in didn't use night clubs but were plenty there. There is limited things for younger children to keep amused. The beach is very clean and sea is nice and warm. We will be visiting Sunny Beach again next year with freinds and will be staying at Kalina Gardens-already booked up!!

Nessebar, Great resort other than cheap trinket shops you seem to find on any vacation. Sunny Beach will become the Bulgarian Malia or Faliraki. So stay in Ness. visit Sunny Beach and enjoy the best of both worlds

Sunny beach in my opinion is great for couples and families.Loads of shops, bars and resturants bouncy castles,mini fairground,bicicle hire,loads for kids!
The beach was nice but could do with cleaning more often as the sand was full of fag ends. If you dont want to move from your lounger you dont have to (except to go loo of course),as the life guards will bring you coffee,cold drinks etc for just slightly more than the shops charge!!
I will deffo be visiting bulgaria again while its still cheap,in other words, before it joins the EU!!!! Look at Majorca for instance,its more expensive than Britain.
My advice- try Sunny beach its the best.

This was my first time in Bulgaria and I really enjoyed it. Sunny Beach was a lovely place, very clean and lots of shops on the streets, different kind of restaurants, bars and a few discos.
Food was very cheap, dinner for two with wine, desserts and coctails about 15e-20e (30-40lev). At lunch you could have two pizzas and large beers 7e (15lev).
We really liked Barbeque Karibi which is along the beach road. The food was excellent (I recommend chicken filee from the grill) and service very nice. Also Djanny´s near the market area: very nice for lunch and Panorama restaurant at Nessebar.
We went out a few nights to Lazur and Iceberg. Lazur was very impressive, lots of people and nice atmosphere. The music was not to my taste so we prefferred Iceberg which had a live band every night.
We vere five times in Iceberg and saw four different bands which all were good (especially the one who played rock covers such as Bon Jovi, Bryan Adams, KISS...). Drinks were really cheap at Iceberg, beer and all local booze 1lev (50cent). We went to Khans Tent (Hanska Shaktra) which was a really good night out.
Food was excellent and the show very nice. The view from the restaurant was absotely fabulous! We also visited Nessebar twice, it was lovely place and a good way to spent and afternoon or even a whole day. Lots to see there. We went there by bus (0,5lev) and once came back with boat. That was really fun, because the boat was really small and it was quite windy... Although I don´t recommend it if you get easily sea sick!

The resort was great, something for everyone. The kids were never bored.
Found some lovely bars and restaurants. Only thing we didn't like was in some bars men and women had to share the same toilets, and in some you had to pay.
Only went on beach once, we prefered poolside.
Not easy finding an English breakfast, we had all kinds of concoctions. Best place for English food was the Flower.

The resort was lovely being five minutes away from the beach. There were shops everywhere and McDonalds straight opposite our hotel! (which we all loved!) The resort was clean not a peice of litter on the floor.
The beach was brilliant having boats going to nessebar and loads more things. Every thing is so cheap out there and is much cheaper than Spain or any other resort. All in all the resort was brilliant and I would recomend this resort to anyone and every one me and my family enjoyed it and I think you will to!!!

A children's paradise, and a parent's paradise because it was so cheap.
Plenty of places to eat, plenty of things for a 4 year old to do and because of that makes a parent's holiday enjoyable as well.
Would recommend the boat trip across to Nessebar. We walked all the way back along the beach, but there is a road train that goes halfway, or a bus.
