Request a room that is facing away from the pool area if you want quiet at night. The rooms facing out have great views and are also very quiet at night even though there is live entertainment going on.

We stayed in room 438 good view over the pool the pictures I have included you will see walk in shower no grip handles and shower mat on the base of the shower and this was provided by the holiday rep

They have water stations dotted around the hotel, which is a great idea. You buy a recyclable bottle for €4 and you can fill it as many times as you like! Saves on buying lots of plastic bottles from supermarkets etc. Eco Friendly ?

Pool view rooms are good, if you want to watch the entertainment from your room. The entertainment is over by 11pm so no problem with noise, unless you go to bed early. Calypso 1 is the block with the restaurant, bars, etc. so I thought it the best choice

The beachs are very clean but if you get there early you will by lunch time not have space to climb through to the pavement. There are fun fairs for the children along the beach which are lovely and reasonably priced. We didnt eat out but there was plenty to do for all shopping great, disco's plenty, water parks and water sports great.Would recommend anyone try it once you will love it or hate it.

Salou itself is quite a nice and friendly place plenty of shops and a lovely beach. There are plenty of lovely walks around the resort and much more besides. Can throughly recommend it

This resort is great for all the family. It has a lovely beach with both shaded and non shaded areas. The resort is great for us shoppers. It has a wide variety of different shops. I would deffinately return here but only if i could get into the Port Salou hotel. Another good hotel i'd stay in is the Goleden Avenida park which is only along the road from the Port Salou Park hotel.

The only complaint that i have about salou is that the streets are continually lined with large refuse skips filled with rubbish, but credit where credit's due, these were regularly emptied(every evening if i remember correctly) The entertainment is fantastic and caters for every age. there is a vast selection of restaurants, the only down side is constantly being harrassed to eat in particular venues. The beach is very clean and of a high standard. i look forward to visiting again.

salou is excellent for families i would recommend it to anyone with children oprt aventura theme park is brill,the beaches are also very clean we enjoy it so much weve been three times and are thinking of going back in 2005

Salou was fantastic, a must for couples and families.
It is absolutley spotless couldn't fault it at all.
I felt safe at all times.
We will definitely return in the future without a doubt.

Great resort, loads to do.
Beach was clean. Spent ages in Port Aventura, and costa caribe well worth a visit.
