Request a room that is facing away from the pool area if you want quiet at night. The rooms facing out have great views and are also very quiet at night even though there is live entertainment going on.

We stayed in room 438 good view over the pool the pictures I have included you will see walk in shower no grip handles and shower mat on the base of the shower and this was provided by the holiday rep

They have water stations dotted around the hotel, which is a great idea. You buy a recyclable bottle for €4 and you can fill it as many times as you like! Saves on buying lots of plastic bottles from supermarkets etc. Eco Friendly ?

Pool view rooms are good, if you want to watch the entertainment from your room. The entertainment is over by 11pm so no problem with noise, unless you go to bed early. Calypso 1 is the block with the restaurant, bars, etc. so I thought it the best choice

The resort was very large and all the hotels seemed to be miles away from the beach or the main street of shops.
We had young children with us and never managed to walk the full length of the promenade even with pushchairs.
The beach was extremely busy and although it was very large space was limited. We didn`t spend much time at the beach for fear that our children would get lost in the crowds of people but the facililites available seemed adequate.

resort in general is flat there are a few hoel that are on a hill so be carefull when booking.
there are loads of bars and clubs with pleanty of plases to eat. transport is cheap and there are plenty of markets daily. There is 2 road trains that go around the resort. beach is nice and clean with toilets on the promanade

cleanliness was great saw bin men in streets every day. resort entertainment was fantastic, in cap salou where hotel is there is only 2 pubs mickeys and the fabulous crows nest (if your under 50 gooooooo)in salou itself there is loads of pubs karaoke, discos, quizes etc etc. beaches were the best ive ever seen anywhere, and the sea was warm (a friend said hotter then caribien)Go to salou loved it and was best holiday ive ever had. going back next year

Very clean with plenty of well tended parks, fountains and facilities, very user friendly indeed. Plenty of outlets for all tastes so no need to complain. Beaches very clean and facilities (toilets)widespread.
Would and have visited Salou before due to it's location and easy access to, Cambrils, Tarragona and Barcelona, all available byexcellent public transport.

been 2 salou 5 times before brill last time was 2 years ago i found same acts are the same mitzy champagne was good as ever seen her a few times same show but good drag queen roy chubber brown good trubute show same as before loads of looky looky shops the reason we go back is portaventura brill park a bit strict on heights my graddaughter who is 4 a bit under a meter a pair of spanish shoes did the trick went on a few more rides so if you are just under a meter buy a pair of shoes dose the trick best 8 euros salou is clean the park had a few wasps expected that will vistit salou again

The Cala Font is located in the small resort of Cap Salou. This is midway between Salou and Cambrils each resort is about 25 minutes walk away in opposite directions.(hilly with some steps).
The resort is basically 4 or 5 hotels with a similar number of bars and a couple of supermarkets.
There are 2 very small beaches that are clean ,safe and were not too busy when we were there.
There is a good mixture of bars that seemed to be aimed at family`s or older couples.
The bus stop for the resort is close by but at the top of a reasonably steep incline.

Not impressed with the cleanliness of the streets of Salou, and the constant harassment from bar and restaurant reps,street traders and at times shopkeepers was very irritating. Took a look at the beach and decided not to stay there as it was to busy so went to a water park in La Pineda instead.would return to Salou only to visit portaventura and Aquapolis and would stay at the same hotel as a haven.

as soon as we step foot in salou we feel happy , its just something about the place, it's magic, there is always something to do whatever your taste, however there does seem to be a drastic rise in looky looky men , and this borders on harrasment at times , apart from this i still think it offers the best family holiday destination in europe, for food go to chippies, old brown cow and lazy wave , for drinks , try the hole in the wall or the lazy wave, cant go wrong ,,, simples
