Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Beaches

The streets were very clean but not enough lights covered the dark streets from the hotel to main street. The resturants and bars were fantastic lots of entertainment, lovely food and very friendly. The beach was very small and busy didnt use it once on our holiday. But overall the resort is alive and buzzing and a very interesting and friendly place with so much to choose from.

Marmaris is a great place to stay, ive been to turkey before but stayed in antalya- marmaris is ten times better.
The beach is very clean and there are hunderds of sunbeds that are free to use. We stayed for one week and you cant fit enough in there is so much to do. The greek island of rhodes is only 45 minutes away by catamaran and is a great day out- thats avaliable to do everday so you can pick which day you would like. I strongly recommend booking to go to Pamukkale (cotton castle)- if you go to google and type in pamukkale for pictures- & the ancient city of hierapolis its beautiful (pamukkale is in hierapolis- its one excursion.)
There is lots to see including a big theatre where the gladiators used to fight, cleopatras pool which is a natural pool heated by the ground- its like gettin in a hot bath- that costs an extra 18 lira `each but worth it. There is also scuba diving, horse riding, white water rafting which was excellent!, jeep and quad off road safari, moonlight boat rides, boat trip at night to bar street, a trip to ephesus where you can visit the house that virgn mary lived in, boat cruises, turkish bath, mud baths- very good for your skin!, a trip to dalyan where you can see ancient tombs and blue crabs, cleaopatras island which has a beautiful beach and much more!
Thee are lots of restaurants to pick from, one that i must mention is called HaHa- its part of a hotel called the Elegance hotel which is 4*. Its the only restaurant in marmaris on a pier- its perfect for a romantic mea- beautiful at night. We asked for their best table and was took right to the end of the pier- its a litte more expensive but by far the best place i ate all holiday!
If you can live without a good fry up there are lots of places that do fry ups for 99p/2.5 lira!
If you like watersports then tring a fly fish along the beach is a must-You are not strapped in you just hold on.
I have nothing negative to say about this holiday- it was fantastic!

Marmaris is clean , the binmen come around every day.
Entertainment along the beach is plentiful from karaokes to bars playing 60s & 70s and nightclubs too. Loads of them have shows with brekdancers etc.
We never visited the beach although Marmaris beach is not too bad at all.
This is our 2nd time in Marmaris and we would visit again.

The resort its self is on the outskirts of Marmaris but we loved it a long street with plenty of bars and resturants to choose from. But if you fancied going for a full on night of dancing you can catch a dolmus (bus)in to marmaris itself for just 1 lira theres no bustops so just stick your hand out and say stop when your on it,its just 10 mins away. But we stayed where we were across the road was a great resturant called Yes Sirs lovely friendly people they would save us a table for football nice cheap food but mainly because they were so welcoming.few metres up the road was another place called Mad boys didnt go in there but it looked a fun pub n resturant.Therea a cafe called the Pie shop oh boy they do an amazing curry pie the lady comes from Bolton. But the best meal we had was in the Great corner Steak house,we had the steak it was the size of a dinner plate 1 1/2 in thick and melted in your mouth and the special meatballs were great you also got a free drink. We went on the all inclusive boat trip free drinks allday local spirits and beer and a nice dinner of salad bread chicken burger and bread, all for £9 but must get there early or wont get a sun bed on the top of boat.WE booked this with a guy in shop on the street terry 30yrds from the hotel. So overall we had a fab hol and will definately go back to Marmaris again.

Marmaris is very much a resort for the tourists, in that the restaurants cater for western tastes (Chips and burgers)and there is very little history or site seeing spots. Shop staff can be very pushy for you to buy things so be careful about touching any items. However, there are lots of boat trips to places which are nice and not too expensive. Marmaris can be overpriced and expect prices to be more in line with British prices rather than turkish ( e.g. can of coke can be 1.50 lire to 8 which is £1 to £3), there are no fixed prices on items. The beach was disappointing as we had read about a 'long white sandy beach' but found it to be more gravel than sand and there was lots of rubbish particularly cigarrette ends. However, apart from the hugh amount of tourism, marmaris is set in beautiful mountainous surrounding and the trip to rhodes also is a bonus (only 1 hour on ferry).

I love Marmaris, it has everything you need for a good holiday. Lots of bars, clubs, shops, markets, frequent dolmus service, lots of taxis and friendly people.

Hi we whent to Marmaris Turkey and We had the best holiday ever. We found a greatrestaurant in Marmaris/Armutalan, it was called Amadeus and was located just around the corner from Club Orient apart, just off the main road.
The staff at this restaurant made our holiday! The entertainment was really good with a different show each night, the food was excellent and the staff were great fun! We will be going back to marmaris and would recomend a visit to Amadeus restaurant to anyone who is going to Marmaris/Armutalan. Have a great holiday!
