Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

I would definatly recommend the resort of marmaris for anyone looking for lots of entertainment and laughter! Theres such much to do, both daytime and evening. I especially liked the nightlife on the beachfront, my personal favourite club being Beach club where you can dance on the bars and podiums without someone chucking you out! The local people are so friendly and will go out of their way to do anything.

Staying in Marmaris is an experince not to be missed really, the restaraunts and attraction ticket sellers are vigorous in trying to get you to eat and drink on their premises but it is something you get used to.The Turkish Baths are very good as are the Boat trips, prices for these are reasonable but shop around and you will always get someone to come up with a better deal.

Marmaris is clean enough, but theres quite a bit of hussle and bussle with lots of traffic through the day-which leads to quite a bit of noise.
there are loads of excursions to go on if you fancy and booths all over the resort where you can go book. we went on an "all inclusive" boat trip, which made a nice change from the hotel, but all inclusive didnt mean what we thought and drinks, snacks and icecreams very expensive...5 lira for a calippo compared to 2 lira in the shops. we went as a group of young girls and were really happy to have a happy medium with the night life. we didnt want somewhere really over commercial...but also wanted to go out for drinks and a bit of a dance every night. the bars around the harbour were a regular hit, as well as bar street one night on an organised bar crawl. you can take from it what you want...either a chilled out drink in one of the outdoor bars or a night dancing in one of the clubs. please, please be aware though that it is expensive.
on bar street expect to pay up to 15 lira for a cocktail/10 lira for a small local beer. on the beach front it's quite a bit cheaper with large local beer about 7 lira and cocktails between 5 and 10 lira.
the beach at Marmaris was OK, it isnt sand though...more like very fine gravel. We went to Icmeler one day, and the beach there was nicer and quiter and more for older couples than young families.
we had a fab holiday. marmaris has a lot to offer. i would 100% go back

Armutalan is a great place to be for familys and couples great entertainment on in all the bars and resturaunts but if you fancy a bit of night life you can get the bus into Marmaris and it only takes about ten minutes; also when you go to Turkey you must have a Turkish bath theres also plenty to do you can go on boat trips; Jeep safari; water park and many more this was my best holiday ever and will be returning.x

Beach great, cleaned every day, free sunbeds, loads to do day and night, excellent value for money meals everywhere only had one bad one in two weeks (eat as much as want chinese) Reiss on the front especially good 3 courses for 15ytl and great entertainment from the staff, Bachuss and Miss Bellabaziare? great show went a few times and always enjoyed it, didnt eat there so dont know what the food is like
First time to Marmaris, usually go to Olu Deniz so was a bit worried that it would be too much but had a great holiday and would go back but not in July or August

You were hazzled from morning to night. In the end you just don,t want to go outside of your room. Everywhere you go you must be very careful as they charge what they think they can get out of you. Be careful with your money when visiting there.

The only problem with marmaris is there are no bins in sight anywhere. But you rarely see any rubbish even on the beach or on the roads it is extremely clean. Marmaris is a much larger place than you imagine and has quite a busy main road but you do get used to this. There is so much entertainment to choose from, most of the bars are restaurants as well and the staff are more than willing to put a show on for you,But this does get monotonous if you eat in the same place every night. you will get hassle from the Turks but a polite no thanks or I've just eaten (even though you haven't) is more than enough. . The beach front is the best & cheapest place to go and some of the clubs are great. be carefull if you go to bar street which is about a mile & a half walk (maybe longer) the drinks are very expensive and you will get ripped off by the bogof offers. They entice you in with the offer then when you get in and order your drinks they quickly pour them then say the offer ends at say 11.00pm (and you have got there at 5 past) so you have to pay for the drinks you have just ordered and been put in front of you. there is some great clubs though after saying all that. The beach is not the best I've seen but is very clean the water is not the clearest but i think this is due to the sand. If you lay on a sun longer then he bar you are lying in front of will come out to you to get your drink so as they say the loungers are not free. But all in all a wonderful friendly place and we will be going back.

Holidayed in Marmaris last year and had a great time. Everything this year very much the same, although it is far more expensive for certain things compared to last year in particular coffee, tea, soft drinks and beer were almost double last years prices. Food is still great value for money, with a 5 course dinner costing around £6.50.
All the excursions are still great value for money, the all inclusive boat trip which lasts all day and includes local drinks and lunch, costs around £14.00, the jeep safari which includes lunch (£10.00). Plus many more good value trips around. We were not pestered as much this year by people trying to get you to eat or drink at their bar, I personally did not mind this as It was done with a sense of humour and good banter.
There is a lot of good entertainment in Marmaris for all tastes, plenty of free sun beds and sombreros on the beach. Cleanliness is pretty good when you consider how many people are visiting Marmaris and that some have very poor standards of litter disposal.
We would certainly visit Marmaris again but will leave it for a while, only because this was our second visit in two years.
